# Odyssey Home DVR for Mac

Release: 20261005-macos-r1. Apple Silicon only; macOS 12 or later.

1. Download the current DMG from https://odysseyplayer.com/downloads.
2. Open the DMG and drag Odyssey Home DVR to Applications.
3. Open Odyssey Home DVR from Applications. Accept the normal macOS first-open confirmation if shown.
4. Use the menu-bar icon to open Settings and configure the companion. Installation leaves the DVR service stopped; start it when setup is ready.

This package is Developer ID signed and Apple notarized, with notarization tickets attached. If an older unsigned download reports that it is damaged, use this release. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove download quarantine to install it.

The signing repair preserves the 20260914-r4 DVR server and dependencies. Full account/TLS setup, recording and real-device workflow QA remain pending. Back up existing configuration and recordings before maintenance.

The server uses PM2 and binds to 0.0.0.0:3000. Use the supported HTTPS gateway or NGINX and Cloudflare as appropriate for your deployment. Source and account authorization are configured separately.
